The remains of writer and journalist Nat Nakasa, who died in exile in the United States in 1965, are to be repatriated to South Africa, in what Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa has called “a defeat for those who sought to turn Nakasa, like the majority of his people, into temporary sojourners in the country of their birth”.
