Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver remarks at the Atlantic Council’s “Road to Paris Climate Series” at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, at the Atlantic Council in Washington.
The Secretary will be introduced by Atlantic Council President and CEO Fred Kempe.
Secretary Kerry will discuss the urgent need for global effort in the fight against climate change and the importance of transitioning to a global clean-energy economy.
Secretary Kerry’s remarks will be open to the press and streamed live on http://www.state.gov. Follow @StateDeptLive and @AtlanticCouncil using the hashtag #ACEnergy.
Pre-set time for video cameras: 7:30 a.m. from the loading dock at 15th and L NW Washington, D.C.
